just for your info, it's not gonna be tekan. almost all the tekan things will be over (the last bit is at december, so don't worry). for the next part it'll be all REALLY fun. seriously. especially for the sec 1s. i think. anyway, details:

Hi guys, we celebrate the end of Job Week by.... welcoming SUTC!

How happy we are now! Ok, so as we get into the mood of SUTC, you may want to see if you have done all these.
- Packed your bags properly
- Know the inspection layout very very well
- Done up your patrol items
- Have all parts of your Scout Uniform (it's not too late to borrow!)
- Printed out your consent form
- Have most of the important stuff for SUTC (like for sec ones, it could be a groundsheet/mess tin)
- Know the Scout Hymn by heart (according to the email wenhao sent)
- Fortunately, if you haven't learnt it yet, its not too late. You can scroll down to see the previous post and have a good look at the Scout Hymn (Hopefully it's not too late)

More tips
- Remember to count how many whistles the J1s blown
- If there are lectures, do not talk unless absolutely necessary
- Remember how to do inspection - FAST
- During an inspection, when they ask you to pack up, pack up fast. Do not put in item by item or else you foam

Ok, for the tips, it's from what I learnt. If you do not want to learn, you can learn it the hard way from SUTC. =)

Job week!

Hey all! Job week's in just two weeks away. Here are the details for job week:

14th to 15th March
8am to 7pm
Report in full scout uniform excluding beret, at gym hall atrium
latest reporting time for being late is 8pm. diedie latest.
sign on acknowledgement slip before & after each day.
dinner is provided
however, you gotta eat your own lunch out yourself.

Campfires

Hi all, just to note, there are currently four ongoing campfires:

St. Margaret's (28th March)

Crescent Girls (3rd April)

St. Andrews (4th April)

Maris Stella (4th April)

It would be really great if you all could go for as many campfires as possible (i.e. 3). Personally I'll be going for the first three (i prefer star wars over maris stella's theme xD). It's most probably gonna be a great night of fun and games and lala stuff. make sure to go hor! :D

for those who are interested, you can either tell me if you want to go, or tell the ICs direct. I'm not so sure who the ICs are, pretty confusing now having 4 cfs at the same time. they are all around6++/7 to 8++-10, so yea. 

and there'll be girls. ;D

Job Week Briefing (3/3)

Hello all! Tomorrow will be Job Week briefing, with muster parade first. Everyone please bring along your scout uniform (it'll be good if you guys report in it). i'm assuming you all know how to wear it. if not can go there earlier, so i can help you with it. i'll most probably be there early. and another note, you guys are not allowed to wear the scout shirt in public without the scarf. in public excludes toilet and the den though :D

so anw, details for tomorrow:

3.30 to 6.30, rmb bring PE uniform. also be mentally prepared, job week briefing's fun! :D
